Responsibility
- End-to-End Supply Chain Oversight: Manage all aspects of supply chain operations, including import/export procedures, customs compliance, and cross-border logistics.
- Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize costs while ensuring product availability.
- Warehouse & Distribution Management: Oversee warehousing operations, including space utilization, safety protocols, and order fulfillment efficiency.
- Transportation Coordination: Negotiate and manage contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.
- Performance Metrics & KPIs: Define, track, and report on key supply chain metrics (e.g., lead times, order accuracy, cost per unit) to drive data-driven decisions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.
- Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lean methodologies and automation tools to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), WMS, and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and drive operational excellence.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization and cost reduction.
- Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) with the ability to negotiate and present to senior stakeholders.
