Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a unified supply chain strategy to enhance product availability, inventory management, and service levels across retail and e-commerce platforms.
- Operational Scalability: Design and execute scalable processes to support business growth, ensuring agility and responsiveness to market demands.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, logistics, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain objectives with broader business goals.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor KPIs (e.g., order fulfillment rates, inventory turnover, lead times) and leverage data analytics to drive continuous improvement.
- Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service, including vendor negotiations and logistics efficiency.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively assess supply chain risks (e.g., disruptions, demand fluctuations) and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Technology Integration: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge supply chain technologies (e.g., ERP, WMS, AI-driven forecasting) to enhance visibility and automation.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 10 years in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a director-level role within manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong proficiency in data analysis, KPI tracking, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA) and advanced Excel or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and implement process improvements.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CSCP certification is a plus.
