Responsibility
- Manage and organize inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and equipment for events.
- Maintain a clean and orderly storage area, adhering to safety and organizational standards.
- Track and document inventory movements, including receipts, issuances, and returns.
- Assist in the preparation and packing of event materials, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the event team to ensure all materials are available and in good condition for each event.
- Provide support in the setup and breakdown of event decorations as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in the event or hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management software.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during peak event seasons.
