We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Store Operations Manager to lead our retail operations in Jakarta Selatan. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our building materials store, ensuring operational excellence, superior customer service, and optimized inventory control.
As the Store Operations Manager, you will serve as the heartbeat of our business, leading a team of retail staff to deliver high-quality solutions to contractors, home builders, and DIY enthusiasts. You will oversee daily workflows, maintain strict safety standards, and implement strategies to drive store profitability and growth within the competitive Jakarta construction market.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who understands the complexities of building suppliesāfrom logistics and warehouse management to sales floor optimization. Responsibility
- Oversee daily retail store operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient shopping environment.
- Manage end-to-end inventory control, including stock replenishment, procurement, and minimizing shrinkage.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate store staff to achieve and exceed sales targets and operational KPIs.
- Implement effective visual merchandising strategies to showcase building materials and hardware products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key construction contractors and repeat corporate clients.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, local labor laws, and safety regulations for building material storage.
- Prepare regular sales and operational performance reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Business Management, Operations, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in store management or operational leadership, preferably within the building materials or hardware industry (Toko Bangunan).
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, hardware, and DIY home improvement products.
- Proven ability to manage inventory systems and POS software.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Fluent in Indonesian; proficiency in English is a significant advantage.
