Responsibility
- Lead and mentor the Value Stream Quality team to achieve operational excellence and zero-defect targets.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in alignment with ISO, IATF, and other industry standards.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA) for quality deviations, ensuring sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality controls at every stage of the product lifecycle.
- Spearhead continuous improvement (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics (DPU, PPM, OEE) to senior leadership with actionable insights.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews to mitigate quality risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Foster a quality-first culture through training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in quality tools (8D, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
- Strong knowledge of automotive or manufacturing quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a data-driven approach.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management in a global environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Certifications in Quality Management (CQE, CQM) or continuous improvement are highly desirable.
