Responsibility
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks to support engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Create and maintain technical drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to refine designs and resolve technical challenges.
- Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and assembly instructions for manufacturing and production teams.
- Conduct design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements in functionality and efficiency.
- Ensure all designs are accurately documented and version-controlled for future reference.
- Assist in prototyping and testing phases by providing precise CAD models and drawings.
- Stay updated with the latest SolidWorks features and industry trends to enhance design capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a SolidWorks Operator or similar role, with a strong portfolio of 2D/3D designs.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks software, including advanced modeling, assembly, and drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with other CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Fusion 360) is a plus.
