Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy Smart Lighting and Smart Metering systems using IoT platforms and embedded technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for smart infrastructure projects.
- Integrate sensors, controllers, and communication protocols (e.g., Zigbee, LoRaWAN, BLE) to enable seamless data collection and automation.
- Optimize system performance, energy efficiency, and scalability for large-scale deployments in urban and commercial environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, firmware, and software components of smart systems.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI).
- Provide technical documentation, training, and support to clients and internal teams.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in IoT, smart grids, and energy management to drive innovation in projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in system engineering, with a focus on IoT, embedded systems, or smart infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with smart lighting controls, metering systems, or building automation (e.g., DALI, DMX, Modbus).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or JavaScript for embedded and IoT applications.
- Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (Zigbee, LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi, NFC) and cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Certifications in IoT, smart energy, or related fields (e.g., Cisco IoT, AWS Certified IoT) are advantageous.
