Responsibility
- Perform welding operations using SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) techniques.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components from stainless steel and mild steel.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including torches, power tools, and safety gear.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder, with expertise in SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW techniques.
- Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to welding.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions, including standing for extended periods.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS or equivalent) is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
