Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly, personalized service and recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, including equipment and inventory management.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new menu items to enhance the customer experience.
- Handle cash transactions and POS systems accurately while managing customer orders.
- Assist in training new staff and sharing best practices for coffee preparation and service.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and milk steaming techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills for accurate transactions.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in food safety or barista training is an advantage.
