Responsibility
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, and cold brews, with consistency and artistry.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling payments, issuing receipts, and balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, including the coffee station, counter, and dining areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, or loyalty programs to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or Cashier in a café, restaurant, or similar fast-paced environment (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, equipment (e.g., espresso machines, grinders), and beverage recipes.
- Excellent numerical and cash-handling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in barista training or hospitality are a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg (e.g., coffee bean bags).
- Passion for coffee culture and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
