Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality Singapore Math lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels using approved methodologies and materials.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs while maintaining alignment with the Singapore Math framework.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that fosters a love for learning.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to stay updated on educational trends.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral observations.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience, preferably in Singapore Math or similar programs.
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to explain them clearly to students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient and encouraging teaching style.
- Familiarity with student-centered teaching approaches and differentiated instruction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of local languages is a plus.
