Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot building automation systems, generators, water treatment plants, and other critical infrastructure.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to guest experiences and operations.
- Collaborate with property managers, housekeeping, and front-of-house teams to address facility-related concerns and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Assist in the planning and execution of preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff or contractors as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance roles, preferably in hospitality, resorts, or luxury property environments.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field) is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and sustainable engineering practices.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the role.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus.
- Certifications in facility management, HVAC, or electrical systems (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are highly desirable.
