Responsibility
- Design, configure, and implement Workday Payroll solutions tailored to client requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international payroll regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll-related issues, including tax calculations, deductions, and reporting discrepancies, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Lead payroll system testing, validation, and go-live support to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruption to client operations.
- Develop and maintain Workday Payroll documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and training materials for end-users and stakeholders.
- Provide expert guidance on Workday Payroll best practices, including integration with third-party systems (e.g., time tracking, benefits, and accounting software).
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, conduct gap analyses, and recommend solutions to enhance payroll efficiency and scalability.
- Stay updated on Workday Payroll updates, tax laws, and compliance changes to ensure systems remain current and aligned with global standards.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the Workday practice.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Payroll configuration, implementation, or support, with a focus on global payroll solutions.
- Proven expertise in Workday Payroll modules, including tax calculations, deductions, garnishments, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance (e.g., local tax laws, labor regulations, and international payroll standards).
- Experience with Workday integrations (e.g., time tracking, benefits, and accounting systems) and third-party payroll providers.
- Workday Payroll certification (e.g., Workday Payroll Certified Consultant) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex payroll issues to deliver effective solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing role is a plus.
