Responsibility
- Develop, customize, and maintain multiple WordPress websites with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement and manage custom themes, plugins, and integrations to meet client requirements.
- Optimize website speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness for better user engagement and search rankings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including bug fixes, compatibility problems, and server-side errors.
- Perform regular backups, updates, and security audits to ensure site stability and protection against vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
- Monitor website analytics and provide data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices to enhance development workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven 3+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery, React/Vue is a plus).
- Extensive experience with WordPress CMS, WooCommerce, and page builders (Elementor, Divi, etc.).
- Solid understanding of SEO principles, caching mechanisms, and CDN integration.
- Familiarity with MySQL, RESTful APIs, and version control systems (Git).
- Experience with website migration, hosting management (AWS, Cloudways, etc.), and SSL certification.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
