Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of responsive, high-traffic websites and web applications.
- Collaborate with Digital Media and Corporate Communications teams to translate business goals into technical requirements.
- Optimize front-end and back-end performance for speed, scalability, and SEO best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal), and CRM systems.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility (WCAG) compliance.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing proactive maintenance and updates.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and technical documentation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in web development, UX/UI, and digital marketing tools.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in web development, with a portfolio showcasing complex projects.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Expertise in back-end technologies (Node.js, PHP, Python, or Ruby) and databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify) and version control (Git).
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with non-technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
