Responsibility
- Develop, test, and deploy high-performance applications using VB.NET and VB 6.0.
- Design and optimize SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver scalable software solutions.
- Maintain and enhance legacy systems while integrating modern technologies where applicable.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in Visual Basic and .NET frameworks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in VB.NET or VB 6.0 development.
- Proficient in SQL Server (query optimization, stored procedures, database design).
- Strong understanding of OOP principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with .NET Framework and related tools (Visual Studio, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
