Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate product functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Conduct rigorous functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure products meet technical and customer specifications.
- Identify, document, and track software/hardware defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to define test requirements and improve test coverage.
- Automate repetitive test processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders for product improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC) and internal quality protocols.
- Mentor junior test engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test engineering, quality assurance, or product validation, preferably in electronics manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Strong proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, LabVIEW) and scripting languages (Python, C++, Java).
- Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators) and debugging hardware/software interfaces.
- In-depth knowledge of test methodologies (black-box, white-box, boundary testing) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with global teams.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desirable.
