Responsibility
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime.
- Administer network security, firewalls, and access controls to safeguard data integrity and compliance.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for complex IT issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Deploy, configure, and patch software/hardware, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Document system configurations, policies, and procedures for knowledge sharing and audits.
- Lead IT projects, including migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Infrastructure Specialist.
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN) and security best practices.
- Certifications such as MCSA, RHCE, CCNA, or AWS/Azure certifications are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
