Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the Hawker Centre, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to service standards.
- Supervise and coordinate staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety regulations across all premises.
- Resolve operational issues promptly, including vendor disputes, customer complaints, and logistical challenges.
- Optimize resource allocation, including staffing, equipment, and inventory, to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with management to implement policies, procedures, and promotional initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control and operational excellence.
- Prepare and submit reports on performance metrics, incidents, and improvement recommendations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality, food service, or Hawker Centre management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and operational best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with vendors, staff, and customers.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office) and POS systems.
