Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
- Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide therapy in various settings, including hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centers, and private clinics.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing functions.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid license or certification as a Speech Therapist (SLT) or Speech Language Therapist.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in speech therapy, with a preference for senior-level candidates.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
