Responsibility
- Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans for students with autism.
- Assess and evaluate students' communication abilities and progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to create holistic support plans.
- Provide training and guidance to junior therapists and support staff.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance social communication and literacy skills.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech and language therapy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with autism.
- Certification or licensure as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
