Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow applications using App Engine, including scoped apps, UI policies, and client scripts.
- Customize and extend ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM) to meet client-specific business requirements.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, or IntegrationHub.
- Optimize workflows, automation rules, and performance tuning for large-scale ServiceNow instances.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and propose technical solutions.
- Write and maintain JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow best practices for clean, scalable code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including debugging scripts and system errors.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on ServiceNow development standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with 2+ years specializing in App Engine.
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) and/or Application Developer (CAD) (preferred).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Glide API for ServiceNow customization.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, JDBC, SSO) and Orchestration/Flow Designer.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices for ITSM/ITOM.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
