Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade security platforms, including SIEM, IAM, DLP, and endpoint protection systems.
- Develop and automate security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management processes.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines (SecDevOps).
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with global security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and telecom-specific regulations.
- Optimize security infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in security architecture decisions.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies, recommending proactive security enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Masterâs preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, platform security, or DevSecOps roles.
- Hands-on expertise with security tools such as Splunk, Wazuh, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, or Fortinet.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform).
- Deep understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS/Azure Security Specialty are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in high-stakes security incidents.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
