Responsibility
- Design, develop, and enhance custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces for SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
- Develop and maintain OData services, CDS views, and Fiori applications to enable seamless user experiences and mobile accessibility.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance, security, and maintainability, including debugging and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Integrate SAP systems with third-party applications using APIs, IDocs, and ETL processes, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
- Participate in S/4HANA migration projects, including data conversion, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Document technical designs, code changes, and system configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with IT governance.
- Stay updated on SAP's latest technologies and trends, including AI/ML integrations, cloud solutions, and automation tools.
Qualifications
- 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on S/4HANA environments.
- Proven expertise in ABAP Objects, ALV reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and BAdIs.
- Experience with OData services, CDS views, and Fiori app development (UI5/Fiori Elements).
- Knowledge of APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and ETL processes for SAP integrations.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA database concepts (e.g., CDS, AMDP, calculation views) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI, CO) and their technical dependencies.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform, SAP BTP, or SAP Analytics Cloud is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) for effective collaboration with global teams.
