Responsibility
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil & gas industry to expand the polymer products portfolio.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Technical Sales Support: Provide expert technical advice and solutions to clients, addressing their specific needs related to polymer materials and mechanical applications.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in the oil & gas sector.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
- Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Prepare and present technical proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to senior management.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide training and support to junior sales team members to enhance their technical and sales skills.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably within the polymer, mechanical, or oil & gas industries.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of polymer materials, mechanical applications, and oil & gas industry standards and regulations.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions to clients.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel within Bali and other regions as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales and technical tools.
