Responsibility
- Lead and manage R&D projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
- Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to drive product and process improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to integrate R&D findings into scalable solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and scientific advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop and optimize formulations, prototypes, and testing methodologies for new and existing products.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
- Identify and evaluate new materials, technologies, and partnerships to enhance R&D capabilities.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, preferably in a leadership or senior scientist role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading R&D projects from inception to implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in experimental design and data analysis.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and software tools relevant to R&D (e.g., HPLC, GC-MS, statistical analysis software).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
