Responsibility
- Conduct precise color matching trials using spectrophotometric and visual assessment techniques.
- Perform quality control tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine product formulations.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and recommendations in detailed technical reports.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to color consistency, texture, or performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies in color science.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Assist in scaling up laboratory formulations for mass production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in R&D or quality control.
- Strong understanding of color theory, pigment chemistry, and spectroscopic analysis.
- Proficiency in using laboratory instruments (e.g., spectrophotometers, viscometers, pH meters).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ISO standards or other quality management systems is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia; strong technical writing skills.
