Responsibility
- Lead customer quality management initiatives, including complaint resolution, RMA processing, and root cause analysis to ensure timely and effective solutions.
- Conduct internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) to verify compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Manage Product Change Notifications (PCN) and assess risks to quality, reliability, and customer impact.
- Develop and implement CAPA (Corrective Action/Preventive Action) and CIP (Continuous Improvement Programs) to address systemic issues and enhance process efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs related to quality, defect rates, and customer feedback to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to establish process controls and prevent defects.
- Prepare and present customer quality reports, including 8D reports, PPAP documentation, and scorecards.
- Train and mentor junior quality engineers and production staff on quality standards, tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC), and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related) or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or semiconductor testing, with a focus on customer quality.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100.
- Proven expertise in root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, 8D Methodology).
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and control plans.
- Familiarity with RMA, PCN, CAPA, and KPI tracking in a high-volume production environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with global customers and internal teams.
- Certifications in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), Lean Manufacturing, or Auditing are highly advantageous.
