Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for cloud-based applications using industry-leading tools and technologies
- Collaborate with development teams to implement continuous testing practices within CI/CD pipelines
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring clear communication with development teams
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on product quality, test coverage, and risk assessment
- Optimize test automation processes to improve efficiency, reduce execution time, and increase test coverage
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to best practices for quality assurance
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in test automation and quality assurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud-based applications
- Strong proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress
- Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (Git)
- Solid understanding of API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
