Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from RFP analysis to final submission, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), sales teams, and executives to gather technical and commercial inputs for proposals.
- Research and analyze industry trends, competitor offerings, and client pain points to tailor proposals for maximum impact.
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality, error-free content, including executive summaries, technical descriptions, and pricing sections.
- Design and maintain a proposal template library, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and best practices.
- Manage proposal timelines, deadlines, and version control to ensure on-time delivery under tight schedules.
- Conduct post-submission debriefs to gather feedback and refine future proposals based on lessons learned.
- Support business development initiatives by contributing to pitch decks, whitepapers, and other sales enablement materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Technical Writing, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal writing, business development, or technical writing, preferably in the ICT, software, or consulting industries.
- Proven track record of developing winning proposals for complex, high-value contracts (B2B or B2G).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify technical jargon for diverse audiences.
- Strong project management abilities, with experience handling multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and proposal management tools (e.g., Proposal Software, CRM systems).
- Familiarity with APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
