Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and commissioning of MEP systems for pharmaceutical and high-precision facilities, ensuring adherence to GMP, ISO 14644, and FDA guidelines.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and regulatory bodies to integrate process utilities (HVAC, piping, electrical) into facility layouts.
- Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies for new projects, identifying cost-effective and scalable engineering solutions.
- Oversee vendor selection, procurement, and installation of specialized equipment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including P&IDs, PFDs, and as-built drawings, using CAD and BIM software.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, mitigating risks to deliver on-time, within-scope results.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers and on-site teams on system operations and troubleshooting.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in pharmaceutical engineering (e.g., modular cleanrooms, IoT-enabled utilities) and propose innovations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. PE/P.Eng. certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP design or process engineering for pharmaceutical, biotech, or semiconductor industries.
- Proven track record in project management (PMP certification preferred) for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Deep knowledge of GMP, ISO 14644, cGMP, and FDA 21 CFR regulations for controlled environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar tools for system modeling and simulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root-cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode analysis (FMEA).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with global teams and clients.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (work permit sponsorship available for qualified candidates).
