Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for power generation plants, substations, and distribution networks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (civil, mechanical, and project management) to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (IEC, IEEE, PUIL).
- Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs for electrical works, including HV/MV/LV systems, transformers, and switchgear.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery without compromising quality.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to mitigate electrical hazards and ensure adherence to OHSA and company safety protocols.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and on-site teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present progress reports, feasibility studies, and post-commissioning evaluations to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field); Masterâs degree or P.E. license is a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in project management for power generation or industrial projects.
- Proven expertise in HV/MV/LV systems, substation design, and power distribution, including familiarity with SCADA and protection systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or Dialux for electrical design and simulation.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian electrical codes (PUIL) and international standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
- Excellent project management skills, with experience using tools like Primavera or MS Project.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Ability to work in Badung, Bali, with willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
