Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end product design process, from conceptualization to prototyping and final production.
- Conduct R&D testing to validate product performance, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and QA teams to ensure seamless product development and scalability.
- Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) to create precise 2D/3D models and technical drawings.
- Optimize designs for cost-efficiency, functionality, and user experience without compromising quality.
- Analyze test data and iterate on designs to resolve technical challenges and improve product reliability.
- Stay abreast of emerging materials, technologies, and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Prepare and present technical reports, design specifications, and project timelines to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in product design engineering, preferably in R&D or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) and simulation software (ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong understanding of material science, manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC, 3D printing), and DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
- Experience with prototyping, testing methodologies, and quality control standards (ISO, ASTM).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a proactive mindset.
