Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for banking and financial services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost-saving targets.
- Lead vendor identification, evaluation, and selection processes, fostering long-term partnerships with reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable agreements while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee procurement operations, including purchase orders, invoicing, and supplier performance tracking, to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Operations) to streamline procurement workflows and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives and process improvements to optimize spend and drive value for the organization.
- Monitor market trends, industry benchmarks, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation in procurement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and ethical sourcing practices in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. MBA or CIPS certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in Banking/Financial Services.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making, spend analysis, and cost-benefit evaluations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to influence internal and external partners.
- Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle) and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial services (e.g., Basel III, AML, KYC) and risk management frameworks.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
