Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and company policies.
- Oversee the procurement process, from sourcing to contract management, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.
- Mentor and guide junior procurement team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in procurement.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is highly desirable.
