Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for process deviations or defects.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies into existing workflows.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, yield, and scrap rates, and propose data-driven improvements.
- Conduct time-motion studies and value stream mapping to identify bottlenecks and waste reduction opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and industry regulations.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering within precision manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (Green Belt/Black Belt certification is a plus).
- Strong proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB) and statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of reducing process variability and improving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, and control plans in a high-precision environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Indonesian) are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced MNC environment with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
