Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patientsā foot and ankle conditions, including gait analysis, biomechanical evaluations, and diagnostic imaging interpretations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including orthotic prescriptions, wound care, surgical interventions, and rehabilitative therapies.
- Perform minor surgical procedures (e.g., nail surgeries, soft tissue excisions) and post-operative care with adherence to clinical best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and diabetes specialists, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive foot care, proper footwear, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about podiatric health, especially for high-risk groups (e.g., diabetics, athletes).
- Stay abreast of advancements in podiatric medicine through continuous professional development and research.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Podiatrist, with a proven track record in diagnosing and treating complex foot and ankle disorders.
- Valid license to practice podiatric medicine in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Strong expertise in biomechanics, orthotics, and diabetic foot care.
- Proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures and using diagnostic tools (e.g., ultrasound, X-ray).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian or other local languages is a plus.
