Responsibility
- Develop, program, and optimize PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems for industrial automation applications using platforms like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi.
- Design and integrate HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for real-time monitoring and control.
- Perform system troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to implement end-to-end automation solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including PLC logic diagrams, wiring schematics, and operational manuals.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for automated systems in accordance with industrial regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to operational teams on automation systems and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in Industry 4.0, IoT, and smart manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Automation) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram).
- Proficient in HMI/SCADA development (e.g., WinCC, Ignition, FactoryTalk View).
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA).
- Experience with troubleshooting and commissioning automation systems in manufacturing, oil & gas, or similar industries.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, motor controls, and sensor integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
