Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with local and international pharmaceutical standards.
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide professional counseling to patients on proper usage and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans and ensure safe medication practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, inventory logs, and controlled substance documentation.
- Lead and mentor junior pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Conduct regular audits of pharmacy inventory to prevent shortages or expirations and manage procurement processes.
- Provide health screenings, vaccinations, and wellness consultations to promote preventive care within the community.
- Stay abreast of the latest pharmaceutical advancements, regulations, and best practices to deliver evidence-based care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution; Pharm.D. is a plus.
- Valid pharmacist license in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one) with minimum 5 years of clinical or retail pharmacy experience.
- Proven track record in managing pharmacy operations, including inventory, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, drug interactions, and patient counseling techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous but not required.
