As a key member of the team, you will prepare Records of Advice (ROA) and Statements of Advice (SOA) while conducting in-depth research to ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations. Responsibility
- Prepare and review compliant Records of Advice (ROA) and Statements of Advice (SOA) in accordance with Australian financial regulations.
- Conduct financial research and analysis to support advisers in developing tailored client strategies.
- Collaborate with Financial Advisers to ensure advice documents are accurate, clear, and aligned with client objectives.
- Stay updated on Australian financial laws, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
- Assist in the development of financial models, cash flow projections, and investment strategies.
- Liaise with clients and advisers to gather necessary information for advice documentation.
- Maintain meticulous records and ensure all documentation meets audit and compliance requirements.
- Provide high-level administrative support to financial advisers, including meeting preparation and follow-ups.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar role within the Australian financial services sector.
- Deep understanding of Australian financial regulations, FOFA, and RG 175 compliance.
- Proven ability to draft SOAs and ROAs with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., Xplan, Midwinter, or similar).
- Relevant qualifications such as Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) or RG 146 compliance are highly regarded.
- Ability to work onsite in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, or surrounding areas).
