As an MEP Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop energy-efficient, code-compliant systems that align with international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IES) and local regulations. Your expertise will ensure the seamless integration of MEP components into architectural and structural designs, optimizing performance, cost, and sustainability.
Based in Bali’s prime locations (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, or surrounding areas), you’ll work on diverse projects—from luxury resorts and commercial complexes to residential developments—while enjoying a work-life balance in a tropical paradise.
Responsibility
- Design and develop MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) for commercial, residential, and hospitality projects using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM 360.
- Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing to ensure efficiency and compliance with local and international standards.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems into project designs without conflicts.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for tendering and construction phases.
- Perform site inspections and quality control to ensure adherence to design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize MEP systems for sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and energy efficiency, incorporating green building principles where applicable.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction, providing practical solutions to on-site challenges.
- Stay updated on emerging MEP technologies, codes, and industry best practices to drive innovation in project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field) with a focus on MEP systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP design and engineering, preferably in commercial, hospitality, or high-rise projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or similar software; BIM experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IES, IEC) and Indonesian regulations (PU, PLN, PDAM).
- Proven ability to read and interpret architectural/structural drawings and coordinate MEP layouts.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles (LEED, Green Mark) is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, or surrounding areas).
