Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and launch of life insurance products tailored to the Indonesian market.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in life insurance offerings.
- Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, and legal teams to ensure product compliance with local regulations (OJK).
- Define product roadmaps and prioritize features based on business goals and customer needs.
- Monitor product performance using KPIs and analytics, and iterate based on data insights.
- Develop pricing strategies and work with finance teams to ensure profitability.
- Liaise with sales, marketing, and distribution channels to align product messaging and go-to-market strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, including digital transformation and InsurTech innovations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in life insurance product management, preferably in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Deep understanding of life insurance products (term, whole life, endowment, unit-linked, etc.) and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable product strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across teams (underwriting, legal, IT, sales).
- Familiarity with digital insurance platforms and customer-centric product design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Indonesian language proficiency is a plus.
- Certifications such as LOMA, FLMI, or local insurance licenses are highly desirable.
