Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize device drivers for peripheral hardware (USB, PCIe, SPI, I2C) on embedded Linux/RTOS platforms.
- Develop and debug Wi-Fi firmware and software stacks, ensuring compliance with IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate and validate new chipset features for IoT applications.
- Optimize system performance, power consumption, and memory usage for resource-constrained embedded devices.
- Implement robust security protocols (WPA3, TLS, secure boot) to protect IoT devices from vulnerabilities.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including API references and integration guides for OEM partners.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues reported by customers or internal QA teams.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in IoT, edge computing, and wireless technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development, with a focus on device drivers or Wi-Fi stacks.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and assembly language for low-level programming.
- Hands-on experience with embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, or other RTOS environments.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, memory management, and hardware-software interfacing.
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi protocols, Bluetooth, or other wireless communication standards.
- Experience with debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and static/dynamic analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment.
