In this role, you will analyze, design, and optimize Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and IoT-enabled automation solutions to reduce energy consumption and operational costs. Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement advanced control systems for building automation, including BMS, HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
- Conduct energy audits and performance analyses to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT sensors, PLCs, and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
- Optimize PID control loops, sequence of operations (SOO), and system algorithms to enhance energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, control narratives, and as-built drawings.
- Provide training and support to facility managers and operators on system operation and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated with industry trends in smart building technologies, renewable energy integration, and green building certifications (e.g., LEED, Green Mark).
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO 50001) for energy management and automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or Mechatronics (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or industrial instrumentation.
- Proficiency in BMS platforms (e.g., Siemens Desigo, Honeywell EBI, Schneider EcoStruxure) and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley).
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, OPC UA).
- Experience with energy modeling software (e.g., EnergyPlus, IES VE) and data analytics tools (Python, MATLAB).
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building certifications is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (work permit assistance provided for qualified candidates).
