Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery for mission-critical systems across APAC and EU regions.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and access controls.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance using scripts (Python, Bash) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to integrate hybrid cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with on-premise systems.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to optimize system efficiency.
- Document infrastructure architectures, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis (RCA) to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, AWS/Azure Certified) are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure engineering, with a focus on enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in server hardware, storage systems (SAN/NAS), and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Nagios, Zabbix, ELK Stack, Prometheus/Grafana).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
