Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and recovery.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and trends in the cybersecurity landscape.
- Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in a mid-shift role is a plus.
