Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems.
- Administer and optimize Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft 365 environments, including identity management, security policies, and compliance.
- Develop and implement automation scripts (PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible) to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce best practices for cloud security, data protection, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance infrastructure efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, with a focus on hybrid cloud environments.
- Proven expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including IAM, networking, storage, and compute services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD), Microsoft 365, and hybrid identity solutions (e.g., Azure AD Connect).
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (VPNs, firewalls, load balancers) and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are a plus.
