Responsibility
- Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations for Malaysia, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle management.
- Oversee regional HR initiatives across Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with local labor laws and company policies.
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent in competitive markets.
- Drive employee engagement programs to enhance morale, productivity, and retention rates.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations in Malaysia and neighboring countries, mitigating legal risks.
- Partner with senior leadership to design HR policies and procedures that support business growth and scalability.
- Conduct workforce planning and analytics to optimize resource allocation and forecast hiring needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role in Malaysia or Southeast Asia.
- Proven track record in regional HR operations, including multi-country payroll, compliance, and cross-border collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and familiarity with HR practices in Southeast Asian markets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Experience with HRIS and talent management systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, BambooHR).
- Demonstrated ability to lead change management and drive organizational development initiatives.
- Remote work readiness: Self-motivated, tech-savvy, and comfortable working across time zones.
