Responsibility
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures that mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to drive business growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a multinational company or with international financial reporting is highly desirable.
