Responsibility
- Prepare and review fund accounting records, including NAV calculations, income/expense accruals, and capital transactions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements for asset owner structures.
- Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and optimize processes.
- Generate and analyze financial reports, including investor statements, management accounts, and performance metrics.
- Monitor cash flows, reconciliations, and corporate actions for assigned portfolios.
- Liaise with clients to address inquiries, provide insights, and deliver exceptional service.
- Support the implementation of new accounting standards and system enhancements.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within asset management or financial services.
- Proficiency in fund accounting software (e.g., Investran, eFront) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting for investment funds.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting while meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience with alternative investments (private equity, real estate, or hedge funds) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are advantageous.
